    Emailing Invoices

Does anyone know how to email an invoice rather than using a screenshot, saving in a graphics package and emailing that (which is clumsy).

What I'd like to see in the future is an 'email invoice' button in this day and age .

    Thanks,

    J.

I seem to recall a discussion about this where a happy medium of print to PDF and then send the PDF was recommended/used. You could try something like cutePDF which is what i use myself and can recommend.

I use PDFCreator ( www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator ) which also allows you to print to PDF and can even email the resultant file onwards from within the print dialogue.

It's free but you can also donate if you find it useful.

Nice tip Norman, like the idea of that, i think Jan from mole-end does something too with a PDF option IIRC.

You can do this with two of my plugins :

          One Stop Order Processing (http://www.mole-end.biz/acatalog/Mul...r-Actinic.html)
          - invoices can be emailed for batches of selected orders.

          One Stop Automation (http://www.mole-end.biz/acatalog/One...r-Actinic.html)
          - invoices can be emailed as orders arrive with this one.

In both cases you can customise the email text and choose between sending as HTML or plain text. The invoice can be sent in the email text or as an attachment.
