Hide basket until a product has been added to it

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to hide the basket in actinic, until a product has been added to it.

I am planning on having the basket in a div at the top of the site.

The area is to stay blank until an item has been added to the basket, and then I want the basket to appear.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the link, the basket with the toy is a cool idea.

I think i should've bneen more clearer though in what I need.

I want to hide the whole basket including, text, items, £, etc.

You can still use the info in the thread Jonty posted. Use the same test for anything in the cart and use it to decide to document.write the cart code or not.
