Spacing images / banners with code

I have several banners on my site which run vertical down the borders, these are simple gif images with links coded in to the design view. I have spaced them apart with <br /> code but some act strangley where the same spacing is used one or two maybe required and in some cases the spacing is very different....any ideas why one <br /> does not always equal one line space?

    thanks

Your right sidebar some images have two break tags some have one the gap is closed. You have a space before the tag some versions of Internet Explorer interprets a space as a character.

Thanks - interesting in Firefox it replicates quite closely what is coded, in IE8 a very different story..

You are right - all fixed with the spacing in firefox and IE8!

One more thing if you get chance to look that differs is the text footer, in IE8 the font is fine but tiny in firefox...

        thanks again

Bottom links are surrounded by a H5 tag not defined in your stylesheet, you could try defining a size.
