    Editing Variables to change styling

    Hi

I have a table on one of my checkout pages I'd like to change the styling of.

It refers to a css style 'cartheading'. This, in the main Actinic stylesheet, refers to variable name="CheckoutEM". There is another called 'CheckoutBG' I would like to alter too.

I'm sure it is simple, but I can't see where to go to edit these values?

    Any help much appreciated,
    Harry

That was quick, and seems to have worked for those variables.

However, in the Colour Scheme dialog, I can't see where the table colours are controlled - the lines are still the wrong color. As I imported the site, I guess these are being set somewhere else in the stylesheet.

      Many thanks Lee,
      Harry

Not all colors are controlled in there, more just the global ones, to change others you will need to edit the stylesheet directly on those particular classes. Best way to learn this is to download Firefox and get the free firebug plugin, you can then 'inspect' live elements on the site, see the classes being applied and then locate those classes in the stylesheet. TIP: if you see a variable applying the color to a class (blue underlined link as opposed to a hexadecimal color such as black which is #000000 or #000), then there is a variable applying that color. That's not to say you have to keep using that variable, you can change it, just something to bear in mind and always a good idea to keep system styling in place as much as possible, especially if you're not very good with css.
