Changing appearance of Login/Contact Us

Anybody got a fix for the "Login | Contact us" icon on my frontpage. I have added images etc. which has moved the icon away from the top of the page, and therefore it does not have a border along the top.

Your login div comes after the images in the code, not a matter of just changing this order?
