Cutting and Pasting Component Attributes

I have a range of products which offer 10 options. The customer can select one of over 30 attributes for each option with a pull down menu.

I have created the attribute list for one of the options and have cut and pasted the attribute list to all other 9 options.

The first option full down displays correctly but those options which have been pasted do not display the attribute pull down list.

Has anyone else come across this problem? I am currently using v11 but the problem was also in v10 and v9 (as I recall)

I have just worked out what was wrong.

It seems that I had not filled the Permutation list. Having done that all was well.
