Page Title Variable in Layout

If you have a layout that you have all your Head html in it and you have the page title variable in it. The page titles don't work.

Is this a BUG or am I missing something???

What layout do you have and what do you mean by all your Head html exactly?
Also a sample URL would be useful.

try to do it in dream weaver, it will help you

I think PageTitle may only work in the outer layouts (not confirmed). Some variables are restricted to where they can be used.
