    displaying quantity discounts

    As i understsand it actinic is able to apply discounts at the cart. But we would like to display our discount levels with each item on our site.
    something like this;

    1X = £2.50ea
    5X = £2.00ea
    10x = £1.50ea

    is there a, way to do this/ best solution?

      Look up 'quantity based pricing' in the help, you need the business version though.

        hi lee,

        ive read through this lee, but as i understand it the discount is taken off at checkout...am i right?

        what we would like is some way of dispalying these discounts per item on our site.

        its all very well having a quantity discount but if its not there in black and white then its not very uselful as the sales tool it should be....

        it also states this in the help;
        Select the customer group (price schedule) that this price will apply to. If you are just doing this for your normal (non logged-in) customers, then leave it as 'Retail'.

        For information about setting up customer groups, please see Customer Groups.

        it states .....'then leave as Retail'........we use business but the only options i have are 'DONT USE' and 'account holders'

          As Lee says, you should use the Prices tab on the product to achieve what you want, not Marketing/Discounts. You can add text as desired to show next to the product. See attached.

              There's no better way to test than create a dummy product, upload and test it live, you get 100% confidence then, just remove the product once you are happy. The preview also helps.

                  Your designer may have put that there to stop you playing around too much with potentially disastrous consequences

                    ...well the designers are no longer with us so to prevent 'disastrous consequences' do i treat 'dont use' the same as 'retail'?
