Got into worse mess

My messing around trying to get rid of the duplication of the radio button entries (3 columns of buttons, each column the same) resulted in my changing or removing something which caused errors elsewhere on the website which were worse than the one I was trying to fix.

So I have reverted to a previous snapshot, without the images in the radio button choices. So I am back to square one for at least the time being.

I have tried again today to get help from Actinic Support, having discovered that the problem is not with unsupported code in the AUG but with changes made by Sellerdeck in the upgrade, as the unsupported code still works fine, but is just not being called up, the layout names having changed, it would seem. If they get back to me with the solution I shall put it here in case anybody else is having the same problem.

Basically I just need to know where to put the Radio Button Choices layout.

Have found a possible solution on here from 2011

I have found a posting on this forum from November 2011, where Norman Rouxel has given a solution to somebody's problem which looks like it might work for my problem. Basically it involves changing the code for Radio Button Permutation Entry, and using that instead of Radio Button Choices layout, and creating a new variable PermutationImage instead of ChoiceImage.

If Actinic have not come back to me before I leave work, I'll have a go at Norman's old solution tonight and see if that works, snapshotting first of course.

I have followed Norman Rouxel's solution from a thread started on 7 November 2011 - search "permuation confusion" to find.

It works fine. Thank you Norman.

I am now going to have to go through every make, range and colour of yarn now to set the colour image in the Permutations of the Components, which will take me a while, but never mind.

I am also having to change the column count for each yarn range from 3 to 2, as the words in the radio button choices are wrapping messily. However, I don't mind this type of task - time consuming but not stressful!
