search box outside of actinic pages help!

I am trying to make my external search box search within actinic pages (aka use the internal search)

so basically we want to use the actinic search across the site (but only showing results from the actinic pages) ... so the homepage when searched from goes to /acatalog/searchresultsurl

Trying to explain this is a messy business but its a unified search using the internal search

I want to know how to go about coding this search box that will sit in the unified header of the site?
