I was upgrading a site - I ditched the Nivo slider in favour of the built in BX and rewrote the show/hide so as not to use the deprecated 'toggle' and added a few other bits.
However although everything was fine offline, when published nothing worked! No Slider., no sticky nav, no menu show/hide, no fancybox.
After a lot of searching it seems that Mailchimp's validation javascript includes the WHOLE jquery 1.9 library so it conflicted with everything.
Fortunately the nice chap at: https://css-tricks.com/form-validati...ubscribe-form/ has written a nice lightweight Mailchimp validation and now everything works!
