    VSP Form Transaction Error (protx)

    Hi All

Having a nightmare at the moment with protx same as everyone else by the sounds of things!!

Been searching for my problem everywhere in forums and emailing protx but cant find an answer - my error is listed below:

This transaction attempt has failed. We are unable to redirect you back to the web store from which you were purchasing. The details of the failure are given below.

    Status: INVALID

Status Detail: 5030 : Unable to decrypt the request message. This might be caused by an incorrect password or invalid encoding.

This is what the customer sees when they try to place an order

    Any ideas??

    Thanks

have you changed any settings in Actinic recently?

This is the exact same error as kev reported here after trying the new url changes.. although his set up may be the issue.

have you done anything to it lately? since the fiasco last week?

      Hi

      Doesn't look good then!

only thing i have changed in actinic is the updating to the latest patch -this morning i have tried updating the latest protx urls but still same error - still no response from protx.

Not really sure who to turn to now!

have you looked in the protx support forums to see if anyone else is reporting a similar problem.
There is quite a busy community there too. someone may have experienced it.

Marcus...it might be an idea to share with the forum how it was fixed because a number of other people are experiencing the same problems of late.

Not sure how or why it happened but my OCCPROTXScriptTemplate.pl had reset it's protx password and email address to 'test' - still trying to figure out why this happened!! Just reset it and it seems ok for now with orders being processed successfully this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone in here and the protx forum for your help with this matter.

              Thanks All

that's interesting, Marcus because that's a different error message to what I'd have expected with the testvendor information in the script!
Protx and their fancy new error codes!
A conversion chart from old error message to new would be useful!

If it's any help, I had exactly the same error yesterday.
When updating the OCCupgrade.ini file Actinic had reset the "my $sPassword" in OCCPROTXScriptTemplate.pl back to 'testvendor'

After putting the correct encryption string back in it has fixed the problem.

that's good to know because that problem (over-writing with testvendor details) happens a lot but used to return a different error!
