    Integrating PayOffline

    Hi

I followed the integration setup details here
    http://www.payoffline.com/Support/In...onActinic.aspx
but the screen shots they show do not appear in the configuration settings for this provider.
There does not appear to be a place to add in my merchant password.
I'm on v8.5.2 and I have just reinstalled actinic just in case the problem was with my initial setup.

    Any help appreciated.

    regards Tony

I had already searched the forum for this post before I submitted my request so unfortunately that post does not help.
What I need to know is, do other users of Payoffline see the screen shots shown at the payoffline website in their configuration set up.
I'm convinced the psp script for this provider is incomplete as it says at the top of the file it is an adaptation.

Unfortunately I can't check this but I would guess that the file is an adaptation of an existing PSP file as a starting point.

You could try contacting freeyourmobile who apparantly has Payoffline working:

Guys the setup in actinic does not work as there is only a box to include the username similar to Paypal.
But you need the security password also which is not available in actinic.

So the answer to this thread is some bozo at actinic forgot to include the correct Payoffline script in the last update.
              How do we know this?
Because the Payoffline web site have the screen shots to prove it.
              Quick analogy;
              Measure twice, cut once.

              Happy New Year

                Certainly looks that way

Ive just tried to add the psp to a site and it looks like the configuration is presenting the paypal setup

O well thats the end of that for the time being then!!

I think there's more to this - it may not be (or only be) Actinic at fault here.
Something's perhaps missing in the chain of events. The integration remember is done by PayOffline not Actinic.

IIRC the info on the Payoffline site was posted quite a long time ago - before it was actually added into Actinic. I think I even remember Chris D talking about this a couple of releases back - perhaps PayOffline had done the developement but not passed it back to Actinic.

Hopefully Actinic can comment on this next week when they're back at work.

EDIT: This was first discussed in July 07.

                    Hi there,

Just to let you know that PayOffline has already integrated with the latest version of Actinic, it should be available in their next software release.

If you have any other questions about our service please do not hesitate to ask.

                    Kind Regards,

So it looks like something has gone wrong - shades of PPP

                          Hi All,

Their integration guide at http://www.payoffline.com/Support/In...onActinic.aspx is incorrect.
You must disable MD5. To do this, carry out the following steps:

                          1. Go to https://admin.payoffline.com/

                          2. The customer should enter their username and password.

                          3. Once logged in, click 'Transaction Settings' on the left of the page.

                          4. Untick 'MD5 Signature' under the 'Merchant Keys' section of the page. -
take note of the 'Merchant Key'

                          5. Click 'Save Settings'

                          5. In Actinic, the customer only need enter their 'Merchant Key' into 'Business Settings | Payment & Security'.

PayOffline use a different form of security with Actinic.

                          Kind regards,
                          Bruce King
