    Protx versus Worldpay

    Does anyone have epxerience of using both Protx and Worldpay? Any recommendations?

    To be honest its horses for courses, if you want you money quickly then you go down the route of protx, unfortunately with world pay there is a settling in period for want of a better word, we your money is tied up for weeks.

    i use protx and there have been problems when they uk graded last year but thye are pretty much hassle free for me, i dont have to do anything except login and check payments if i need to.

    Worldpay is a part of natwest streamline or off shoot / sister company

    If you use protx you need a merchant account with streamline, barclays e.t.c but i belive you dont with worldpay but if you do it will reduce the time the money is held aswell.

    i know this is not the answer you probably wanted but there is no clear cut answer

        Worldpay is actually part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group!

        Get a Internet merchant account with your current business bank.
        Apply to Worldpay to become a BankDirect customer.
        This way the money is credited to your company bank account the same day!!

        Because... you are just using Worldpay as the payment processor.
