    Protx Bounce page

Now I am live the automatic bounce to Protx is not working, so i followed the instruction to put in the next button by removing NETQUOTEDEL:TESTMODE
in act_occprotxtemplate.html file as per Prox instructions:
    http://techsupport.protx.com/actiniccartguide.asp

I, and some of my customers, now see a 'next' button, but I've had two people who say they can't see it, and one has sent me a screen shot to confirm that. The site is http://www.lifeworkpotential.com

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Jane,

I had an issue with the automatic bounce to Protx not working a little while back and if you view this post you can see how I fixed it (basically i was missing the script on the psp bounce page) - this will save you having to use the next button method.

    hope this helps.

    Kind Regards

It may be the same issue you had before - the button may be under the right side content. The width of the inner layout on your site is 530px - have a look in the Act_OCCProtxTemplate.html file for the width. If you see 100% - try changing it to 530.

I though we had done this before, but maybe you reverted back to the original template again during your installation hassles.

      EDIT: Try the attached.

        thanks, Jon and Duncan.

I've made the change Duncan suggests as he knows my site well. Now waiting for the people who were having the problem to try ordering again - I didn't have the problem myself so I don't know if we've fixed it yet.

Thanks for your help - I'll post an update report as soon as I know.

The scripts don't seem to be running on your HAG site at the moment. Every cgi link is giving General Script Error: 'invalid path'.

yes, we're in technological meltdown here what with one thing another.

Namesco have taken over UKDomains and have migrated all my sites to new servers, and hey ho guess what there are problems. I am hoping they will sort it out soon, but in the mean time it's a right pain.

Who is the God of technology? I think I need to give him/her/IT more praise and offerings and a lower bended knee!

thanks to Duncan this problem appears solved. I've now heard back from two people who could not see the 'next' button but now can.

Select PSP Bounce page from the 'Select Page Type' dropdown on the Design tab.

The Act_OCCProtxTemplate also needed the width changing as per post #3. These payment templates don't show in Actinic Design View. (Wishlist item perhaps?)

                      That seems to work.

I now have two errors when downloading the orders one refers to an invalid record and the second relating to an error whilst receiving the orders from the PSP and the file may be corrupted from the server. If I click on 'ignore ' the order is downloaded with payment set as ' credit card details sent separately'. The payments all appear on the Protx admin pages.

I have checked the secret key and the encryption details.

                      Any ideas?

                      Thanks

                        Hi Geraldine,

The 'Invalid Signature' error is always because the Secret Key or Encryption Key is wrong. You should check that what Protx have given you has been put into the software correctly (they are case sensitive). Update the site once you've re-entered them. If it still doesn't work then you should contact Protx and make sure that they've entered them onto their servers correctly.

Very odd, suddenly 2 of my sites have stopped bouncing to PROTX, i have added the fix but i cant really understand why.

these sites are on different hosts, i mean physically different companies, locations and server software all be it both linux.

so whats the reason, god only knows, but i cant help thinking this is another problem with the GA code, seeing as this is added to the js functions along with the bounce

but i aint no expert on these things

                          D

                              Austin,

Don't know if you got this solved.

I was having same problem and found this tread:
                              http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=37408

I had somehow deleted the standard onload.
