hsbc - no address - remember me option

i have just started using hsbc secure epayments and noticed i was getting a few orders through with no address details.
after speaking to the hsbc chap he found the reason and said it had to do with the remember me option on actinic and that i needed to contact actinic to resolve this problem

    anyone else had this problem?

This is most probably because the customer wants the order delivered to a separate address. This happens to me, too, but it's never a problem as the order confirmation emails + the downloaded actinic orders have all the info you need.

You need to get your shipping setup so the uk is selected from the dropdown - this will allow actinic to populate the missing fields.

yes it is when the customer chooses a different delivery address.
but then i dont get any avs address and postcode checks

the fact that the customer is asking for a different delivery address increasing the chance that it could be a fraudulent transaction

does anyone know how to solve this

        thanks

Sounds like you need to configure your fraud shield in HSBC

i have the same problem, does this matter if the details are on the order anyway?

Well i think it does as the customer has no confidence when they do not see there details on hsbc. But how does this affect the fraud detection stuff?

This is something I noticed when placing an order on a site and was forwarded to Barclays PSP today.
I'd input my details on the merchant site, only to be forwarded to Barclays whatever and have to input them all over again!

I wasn't best pleased, as a customer (I LOATHE shopping, online OR offline) and, as a merchant, I'd be even more perturbed by it as it has the potential for completely different details to be entered when paying as given to Actinic (it wasn't an Actinic site, in this case just FTR)

As I posted earlier You need to get your shipping setup so the uk is selected from the dropdown - this will allow actinic to populate the missing fields. Bruce posted a step by step guide to hsbc a while ago.

The fraud shield stuff is all in the hsbc virtual terminal OR speak to hsbc and they will set it up for you with a fax authorisation by you as you are changing the default settings so you are accepting a change in risk
