I haven't got 3d-secure enabled, does that mean MasterCard will now be declined?

i signed up to Actinic payments, but it wasn't working several days later. I contacted support and after bouncing emails back and forth for a few days told me it takes upto 2 weeks for MC and Visa to complete my registration process for 3D-Secure.

So i'm wondering, if this means I will be losing these customers now with the new legislation and so forth for MasterCard?

no you wont, it does still work fine as per normal while the registartation goes through, make sure you keep it enabled otherwise maestro will stop working as that has to be 3d secure.

So, I won't be able to accept maestro then until the registration is complete.
I would ideally loved to have kept it on, but unfortunately, leaving it on without 3Dsecure working means that the payment system doesn't work at all!

This is from Support; (the first part i assume is a copy/paste from creditcall)

Strange thats not how it worked for us we just had it enabled anyway on the settings and was working fine still even tough the 3d secure may not of been registered when processing orders, cards were still being put through with 3d secure even tough we were waiting for the certificate.
