    actinic payment and protx

Hi, we use HSBC for merchant account and protx as psp.
We are hoping to add actinic payments as a back up option in case protx goes down at Christmas!

Having spoke to HSBC they advised we can use our account with 2 payment providers but actinic will have to fax the order numbers to hsbc to allow them to reconcile their accounts, they seem to think actinic payments will appear as a credit and make a problem.

    All sounds jolly confusing,
is anyone else using actinic payments with HSBC and another psp.

    Kind Regards
    Wesley

hi, we wanted use actinic payment as a back up, its cheaper than hsbc on the 800 per year option. Plus it has better integration on off-line orders

Sounds like HSBC are looking at AP in a different way - as in not the same as PROTX being a PSP.

you better talking to actinic as they will understand the integration side with your clearing bank.

i cant believe HSBC integration can not be done, more likely a miss understanding

Hi, have just spoken with actinic, they said hsbc has a different set up, i think it will all come out in the wash when they send through a request to be accepted with hsbc.
Sounds like hsbc has two types of merchant accounts, one you can multiple psp with and one you carnt.
