PayPal Pro and V9 issue - help needed

    Hi,

I am trying to set up V9 and Paypal Pro.

The problem i have is orders, be it test or live do not appear.

I understand to use paypal pro i need SSL and that need to capture card details onsite. I have SSL ticked in payment methods to cover the whole site.

All the network settings are set up - eg https: address for the catalog and cgi-bin. When i click test, everything works fine.

At this stage i want to test the cart - and its a nightmare.
Initially i set paypal pro to to test, and tried the whole paypal sandbox method, but read tracies post that suggested putting a product at 1p and putting the status to prodution mode.

The problem is when i navigate through the https site, i can add a product to basket and thats fine, but when i click on view cart or on checkout it shows as http. Any test transaction i do, even if its Invoice with delivery, doesnt appear in the orders section, not even as pending.

    Any suggestions?

I've also seen posts that suggest not using paypal pro, and instead using another paypal product.

I would appreciate feedback as by the looks of it, it just wont work.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Bill,

URL of the site please and link to the product set for testing. We can then check to see if it works.

      A few things

      URL as bruce mentoned
cookies, if you have set up SSL and turned it on it Actinic then tested it and it works, but you dont get the bounce to HTTPS on your site then i suggest clearing your browser cookies, and perhaps changing your script id and removing the old scripts from the cgi-bin.

Now PPP - as far as i can see is not PCI-DSS compliant as far as
you need to ensure your site, and host pass the security checks laid down by the bank, personally i think your wasting your time and it is never gonna happen but that's MHO
