Paypal problem

Could this be the cause of a Paypal payment that was received but did not show in Actinic? ie the order came through but not the payment? As far as I can tell the payment was made via the Actinic checkout pages, and it was not an echeque. I can see it in Paypal, but not in Actinic. The time and date of the payment was:
Date: 4 Sep. 2008
Time: 20:04:51 BST

I don't think this is during the maintennce period, so could this be something else?

I have checked other threads and this has been reported as an occassional issue. What worries me is that (but for a bit of luck) I would not have known this customer had paid for their order. Anyone else had this happen? Any reason for it?

Further Paypal maintenance planned for tomorrow between the hours of 4am and 9am (GMT). They do not expect any significant customer impact during this period, though some users may experience brief performance slow downs and some features may be intermittently unavailable.
