As you say HSBC apear not to want to take the risk - although if it can be used to adjust orders is debateable from the way I read it.

Fair enough, I appreciate that not all PSPs do this and their possible reasons for it.

My initial question still stands though.

I agree its a nice feature to have and if AP and the banks agree it then add my vote

I also think AP should offer this. I can do it with secpay and it is handy when a customer calls up and asks for some more stuff to be added to be added to the order. It's also more secure for them as they don't have to give out their card details over the phone.

I think at the end of the day it will be up to the clearing banks as to who could use it even if it was added to AP

This is possible using the 'Pay' button (which was added after than knowledge base article was written - I have now updated it)

We have used this in the past. You can add lines to the order then click pay and it offers you use same card / use different card. There have been a few instances - when we had the issues with payments and the aut codes wouldn't download - when it doesn't offer you the option.

Assume so as it only works as part of the offline process therefore you need moto which is only in v9. I've looked all over the system and I can't find a way to do it from there.

Just to confirm, this is only in v9 - but it does work with 'Pre-Authorised' and 'Charge Immediately'
