    Does Actinic support Canadian banks?

    #2
    In what way?

Actinic links to the major PSPs, including Actinic Payments, Protx, HSBC, WorldPay, PayPal, SecPay, amongst others.

It does not link, nor can it, to any banks directly.

Can my orders be processed in canadian dollars? or would they have to be US dollars?
And also can a transaction be processed through any debit terminal?
We want the transaction information be sent to my companies email address then processed manually on a debit terminal. If not then its alright.. but just curious.

This kind of process is no longer acceptable - have a search on the forum for "PCI compliance" and you will see why.

canadians seem to be able to do anything they want really. With the us vversion you should be able to show us and ca dollars. To download card details you just need ssl but ideally a psp. If you are using a bank such as scotia bank then you need to see if they have a psp themselves or go through a third party. Look in the business settings / payment and security and see what is on offer in the us version of actinic. Paypal will be a good first step and allow you to take cards.
