Paypal problem

Setting this up with actinic is almost foolproof so you must have it setup incorrectly - all you need do is enter your email addy that the paypal account uses - it also needs to be a business account ideally. The problem may be at paypal end if you have 2 websites sending payments. Its always best to test test test

I managed to get through to Paypal using the orange button. However, the whole checkout is so slow that if I were a genuine customer, I'd have given up long before I got to that stage.
Did you do a purge and refresh?
--edit-- I see you did. Obviously it didn't work.
Why have you changed the script id?
Incidentally, I see that if people choose not to pay by the yellow Paypal button, they are required to enter their credit card details on your now unsecured checkout pages. You should change this asap.

Yes, it's slow at the moment but that wasn't always the case,
do you mean the cgi script number as set in the network settings?
Will this make a difference? What should it be? When I first uploaded it I got an error say the number was already used(or something like that but I can't rember)
Is it just a case of changing the number?

Then its unlikely to be actinic if you have not changed anything - its a slow host as they have already said at easyspace so there is nothing you can do until they fix the problem at thier end.The slow problems weren't an issue until today
TBH your whole payment setup needs looking at ie paypal pro (read the setup sticky on the forum) is not working and you are not allowed to download credit card details.
