Paypal & Actinic Payments, checkout page issue

Hi there

I currently have Actinic payments running and it runs fine. You go through the checkout pages, and when you get to the final checkout page (3?) as Actinic payments is the only option, the payment method is not changeable (i.e it says "Secure Debit/Credit Card Payment" with no drop down) the customer clicks next and goes to the actinic payment screen securely. Nice and easy.

I want to add paypal. I have a web pro account.

So I activate it in Actinic using "paypal web pro" and then having to also activate the manual card details option which it insists I must have too. I dont want to take card details EVER, I just want customers to be able to log in to Paypal and pay.

Now, when you click on the paypal icon, it works like a charm, takes you to the paypal screen, and then I get the email through and the order as normal.

BUT now, if you DONT want to pay by paypal, when you go to the final checkout page, it has a series of fields for entering your credit card number etc. When you fill that in (and ts unsecured) and click next, THEN you get sent to the Actinic payments page! So the customer is being asked to enter details twice, AND its not secure

I tried deleting paypal web payments pro in Actinic, and selected paypal express checkout. Now I get the message "A security header is not valid"!

All I want is the actinic payments to work as before, where you go to the actinic payments page and fill in details securely, OR you click on the paypal button and get directed to the paypal login page.

Any ideas on what is wrong, I have scoured the knowledgebase, forum, made any suggested changes to the occ files, etc, and am fresh out of ideas!

PS - I had to remove all of this from the live site, so currently its running fine, just without a Paypal payment option!

Just use ordinary paypal

Many thanks for that, its worked. No button like with Pro but I worked round that one easily enough.
