    SECPAY Invalid signature

    Hi,

I have added SECPAY in Actinic as a payment option, by entering ID and secret key. I have tested that customers can take payment by using by own credit card as payment. This worked fine and went through to Verified by Visa where I then put in my own security password (which the trader would not normally see) and this processed through OK with confirmation from SECPAY. I went on the SECPAY site and the money was there.

My problem is that when I went to RETRIEVE the order from my website I had an error come up as follows:-
The Payment Service Provider downloaded for order number, 'RA53NS90000052' had an invlaid signature. and was unable to download the order with the details. I had to select ignore and the order was downloaded as an order:- CREDIT CARD DETAILS SENT SEPARATELY.

Can anyone throw any light as to what the problem is for the future?

    Regards,
    Robin

      Hi,
What do I need to do, as I could not find anything in the software to do except add SECPAY as a payment option.

Have a look at post 10 on this thread. It might be what you are looking for. I don't use SecPay so maybe someone who does can help.

I get the same error message on one site where I use the digest checking. The other site where this hasn't been implemented has no problems.

I haven't got around to finding out the problem as it's a very quiet site and there are other things I need to get done.

As far as I can remember, this error message is usually down to the secret password being wrong as this is the one used in the confirmation response.
