    HSBC Secure Epayments Down

Is everyone else having problems with HSBC tonight. I believe it went down around 7-8pm.... And they are closed for the weekend!

Same here, I've now taken it off the website and uploaded my backup PSP (Nochex).

      partly working

It seems payments are still going through the site. We are on bt broadband and we can't access the virtual terminal however on 02 you can but very slow. Perhaps it is more of an internet issue

Interestingly, even though we permanently have a second payment processor on the Snorestore site, no-one chose to use it while HSBC was down.

The reason? The other one is Protx, now renamed SagePay, which no-one in the real world has ever heard of.

I don't thinlk many people actually bother to choose from a drop down list - I think radio choice options are better. You can then easily see your choices.

I actually take HSBC off the website altogether when it's down and replace it with Nochex so when customer chooses to pay by 'Credit or debit card' they are taken to my backup PSP.

Interestingly, when I gave people a choice to pay by 'HSBC secure e-payments' occasionally someone phoned and said they didn't have HSBC card and therefore couldn't pay online
