    Sage Pay Pre-authorized Payments

Has anyone else experienced a change over the weekend on how deferred transactions in Sage Pay are recognised in Actinic? To date all my deferred transactions in Sage Pay have been identified as Pre-authoroized (PSP) payments in Actinic. Over the weekend these have changed to Full Payment Received, even though the Deferred payments have not been released in Sage Pay.

IMO Sage stinks. Moving ASAP, definitely no longer a recommended PSP. Seems they've made a few changes over the weekend which has killed various shopping carts using a range of cart software.

Since mid-afternoon Friday all my successful payments are ending up in the PSP Pending list. Sage Pay deny all knowledge and Actinic support have suggested 4 options to get callback working none of which point to Sage Pay!!

          Is Joe SagePay listening?

I received an email back from Protx support telling me how to edit the OCC script in Actinic - didn't read my email properly!

So much for their MD trying to change my mind on cancellation saying they have invested a lot in support etc.

Rofl. Here's a good one for you. I e-mailed SagePay Support due to several issues, for example, the lack of a 'Proceed' button if the user clicks 'Cancel' to cancel/return to merchant - "I can see that the proceed option is available on screen and this is not bug, but in fact a browser script issue and may not apply to all customers."

So all Firefox users and IE8 users (the only browsers I've checked) must be in the minority then

Alan, do you have contact details for the MD, I'd appreciate if you could forward any info to me, would like a chat with him/her regarding what they intend to do with Sage and the failures of their communication/stability for existing customers. Needless to say I'll be changing PSP's when I return from holiday at the start of June, but it would be interesting to hear "what went wrong"

                  Hi guys,

I'm looking into this now and hope to update you as soon as I can.

                  Best wishes,

                    Sage Pay Pre-authorized Payments

I am having the same problem as Posh Eyes (Post #1): "To date all my deferred transactions in Sage Pay have been identified as Pre-authoroized (PSP) payments in Actinic. Over the weekend these have changed to Full Payment Received, even though the Deferred payments have not been released in Sage Pay." My last successful Pre-authorised sale was on Thursday 7th May and my first Full Payment received (incorrect) was later that day.

I have just spoken to Sage Pay Support, who say that I must have done something at my end and to speak to Actinic instead. I really do not believe that I have touched anything that would have had this effect.

Has anyone else had this problem or are there just half a dozen of us who have experienced this issue? If you are still following this thread, Joe, please would you come back with a solution asap. Thanks.

                      Not Happy Joe.

Yes. Since saturday I am receiving orders 'pending' and not authorised, lots of customer complaints, things were fine before this.
I have dealt with Joe at Protx before and he sorted the same problem out a few years ago.
                      Do something Joe come on.

Looks like the Proceed button has repappeared tonight. Can't say it fills me with any confidence however.

I just spoke to Sagepay support who have informed me that they have not done anything over the weekend to cause this problem, and any changes they do, they inform us first. Who is at fault here then, and who can fix this?

Just so you know, v9.04beta changes the name from Protx to SagePay. It also appears to do away with the constant updating of the OCCPROTXScriptTemplate.pl file. The urls are changed, too, but I haven't been able to test them as they're only in test mode currently and I don't want to destroy my live site.

The 9.0.4 live URL's work, tried and tested OK.

FWIW I wouldn't point the finger at Actinic. Is it a mere coincidence loads of people are having the same issue with SagePay over the same weekend. I bet none of you can remember the last time you changed your Protx settings in Actinic.

If you don't look after your customers interests, who's going to look after yours?! I can't see SagePay ever getting to the brand level of Protx.
