    barclays ePDQ cpi

    Hi,

I'm wanting to link actinic to my barclays merchant account.
Barclays have ePDQ CPI which says

'Ideal for businesses who would like to accept card payments and process the payments via our secure site.'

'When a customer chooses goods or services from your website and proceeds to checkout, they are directed to the ePDQ CPI secure payment environment, where they can pay by debit or credit card. ePDQ CPI automates and completes the transaction - and your staff can then fulfil the customer's order.

Your online store is linked to Barclaycard Business secure payment pages, which capture your customers' card details in real time.'
    http://www.barclaycardbusiness.co.uk...et/end_to_end/

So, this is all PCI compliant.. plus its barclays own psp so you dont need a seperate psp and merchant account.. seems like a really good idea but i cant see any info on it on the actinic site.. nor on this forum.
(I found old stuff relating to epdq, but not to ePDQ CPI)

Does anyone know how to link actinic to ePDQ CPI?
Is it integrated in the new versions of actinic?

    Best Regards,
    Martin

I need to do the same thing Martin so I'd be interested to hear how you did this as I can't find Barclays Merchant in the list of PSP's in business settings in v9. I told Barclays we were using Actinic and they said this wouldn't be a problem so I assume there is a way.
    Cheers

It's not called Barclays in the list, think it's something like secure hosting.

secure hosting links to epdq.. or at least it did. but thats like using a psp.. the payment page is not barclays, its secure hosting from what I can gather.
I wanted to link to the barclays branded payment page for epdq CPI, but I havent had any luck... Its a shame

Actinic can't currently link to Barclays ePDQ.

You can link your Barclays merchant account to Actinic using Actinic Payments, SagePay, RBS Worldpay and many others.

We ourselves have merchant status with Barclays and obviously we use Actinic Payments.

            Barclays

Thats Barclays the major high street bank... one of the largest in the world where I and thousands of other firms have our business accounts..? It might be worth fixing that :-)

As I said, there are numerous ways of connecting to Barclays.
