What is a 'Normal' number of Pending Orders?

Hi,

I just wondered what a 'normal' number of pending orders would be to recieve?

I understand that there are many causes of payments not being processed, but I am interested to know, perhaps as a ratio, what a normal number of pending vs. completed payments would be. Sometimes it feels like we have a lot.

As an indication, over the past month we have had 86 completed sales vs. 29 pending (excluding duplicates).

Does this sound about right?

Depends on multiple factors - generally most Pending orders will be customers trying to find postage costs, hence why you should plaster is all over your site.
