    Shared Ssl & 500 Error

    Hi

I have setup a shared ssl with easyspace but once the page loads and you've added your details and submit I receive a 500 server error?

I have reported this to easyspace who response was

"The server that is used for your shared SSL is specifically for use with Actinic, there are no current problems with this server and no other reports of errors at the moment.

This points to the error you are receiving being local to your site and I suspect that it will be down to the permissions Actinic is using or there has been an error during the uploading of your site contents.

I recommend you re-upload the site and check all of your file/folder permissions. If this does not resolve the issue I would also recommend consulting the Actinic support documentation for further assistance.
    "

I have double checked the settings and refreshed the website does anybody have any ideas?

I tried the product here http://www.vdubshack.co.uk/acatalog/67_Carburetor.html

The SSL certificate appears to be setup on the non www. domain and I get a warning message saying

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.
The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address
        ?

the ssl bounced me to secure-online-payment.com which i see is owned by internetters.

i was allowed to put in cc detail before i got the int server error

who is processing your payments for you?

Thats where I am getting stuck once Ihave added the cc details.

Currently I am only getting the details to process though my Terminal in the shop. But Will once the site hits off I'll use Actinic Payments.

Unless you have made your shop pc pci compliant you would be better off using paypal and have all cc processing secure.

ok that sounds good But would this put customers off who don't have paypal? or do you feel I'd be better of going actinic payment straight away?

paypal will also allow non paypal members to pay with a card - do not choose paypalpro though.

if you want a cheap solution go with PP, otherwise future proof yourself right now with AP
