    Multiple Sites Same Payment Account

I have a successfully working site taking payments through SagePay. I want a second site (same business, same business name, same bank account, same address) using the same SagePay account, and have set up the payment on the second site with exactly the same settings as the earlier site, but it stops at the vsp bounce page, no error message. Any advice?

I can't offer any advice I'm afraid, but we do exactly the same thing, with SecureHosting, and it works a treat.
Are you certain the bounce pages are the same as the original site?

have you asked Sagepay about this? we also have done this, but with Worldpay, however we had extra sub accts within our WP control panel and separate secret keys for each instance.

You need to ask them for permission to run more than one site, if they are selling simular products they normally ( or at least did) allow without additional charges

Are you sure your OCC page is the same as the original site if you are using 9.0.3 or under, new method I think on 9.0.4

          Bounce Page

Hello Sean. Thank you. Do you mean that I need to copy the bounce page code from the first site to the second site?

I have already checked that the OCC . . . page is the same.

I have been processing payments myself on SagePay virtual terminal for the second site's orders (had data capture on its old site which I have now deleted and re-written in Actinic) with my bank's full knowledge for years. As the old site needed a pci compliance certificate from today, I worked until midnight last night putting the new site up and removing the old.

i used to do this when it was protx, i ran three sites all through the same payment gateway, maybe sage pay have linked it to your url. Would not suprise me as they will do anything to get money out of you. The word SAGE says it all IMHO

              Bounce Page Again

Do I copy PSPbounce_00022.fil from the first site's Output directing to the second site's Output directory? Anybody know? If nobody knows, I will snapshot both before trying it this evening.

                It made no difference

Reply to myself: Making sure the pages were the same for both sites made no difference. I have been waiting 48 hours for SagePay to reply to me, other than automatic email. In the meantime, I have removed credit/debit card and PayPal through SagePay from the website and replaced it with just simple PayPal, and given customers the option of ringing the order. A bit messy and unprofessional but better than nothing.

                  Another Reply to Myself

SagePay have responded to my that I just need to setup the payment settings exactly the same as on my first site. I had already done this, and have de-done it, but to no avail. I do not understand why it does not work. I get to the vsp bounce page but it does not continue to SagePay. Any suggestions?

Just a thought - do you have the payment set in Production Mode and not Test?

Not familiar with how sagepay works but it could be a security setting on their site. Often a PSP will only accept incoming connections from a defined site to avoid others spoofing the connection to check CC details.

I'd check there's nothing setup in sagepay that defines which site it should accept connections from.

                        No restriction

                        Thank you Sean and Mike.

SagePay say they do not check what domain the payment is coming from, so no problem there.

Do I need to be in test mode then, not production mode?

                            Can anybody help?

Ok; to summarise. I have set up the new site (re-write of old old site) with exactly the same settings as live and working existing site, same code on pages. It is in production mode. I have checked with SagePay that everything is OK. However, when trying to make a payment, the psp bounce page comes up with VSP and message saying being transferred to SagePay but nothing happens. Nothing to click on. No browser messages. Any suggestions?

Compare the code on the two pages or copy/paste the code here.
