API account user name?

I'm just going through the process of adding PayPal to our Sage payments. PayPal is asking for something called an API account user name. I haven't come across this before. Can anyone tell me how I go about tracking this down? Thanks

Probably the email address you have registered with Paypal.

I expect the API account username is exactly as that shown in the instructions.
