Addiitonal payment provider

Is there a way of adding an additional payment provider to actinic?
The provider in question follows the usual http post/get route.

Yes you can buy the integration kit for about 1k and then write it yourself, not really a viable option though in the real world, plus all of the big boys are already added, you'll be adding a tinpot one usually if you take this route.

Or you could consider modifying an existing one. i.e. if you don't use secpay you could alter that to suit the one you want.

That sounds more viable thanks as most follow the same route it's just the parameter names that tend to be different.
Wouldn't happen to know where I'd start looking?
