PayPal Standard not issuing payment callbacks

Since the New Year, I've found that PayPal Website Payments are not issuing payment notification callbacks to my website. I sometimes get the email, but no longer get the .occ file. This has previously worked for several years.

We seem to having problems with PayPal also. We get the email of the order comnfirmation and it is showing as completed in the PayPal account but it stays in Pending Payment until we manually accept it.

HSBC is ok and we havnt changed anything within Actinic that could affect this so any ideas?

Is it a PayPal issue or local to us?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

      Hiya

Yes have only noticed this morning but we are having excatly the same problem, since the 1st January the payment confirmations are being e:mailed to us but the orders are staying in PSP pending. We are on Actinic Business V7.

This problem has started happening to roughly one payment a month over the last quarter but it is now all of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to everyone !
      Jo

I've been getting the same on a V7 site but not the V8 one.

I wonder if version is the key? My problem site is V6.

                    I'm on v7.

I was getting .occ files for all my paypal orders until 2nd Jan.

Since then I have not got any... at least its not just me!!

All my paypal orders now stay in 'pending' this was working fine until New Year... So something seems to have changed at Paypals end?

Worryingly, I can find any mention of this on the paypal developers community..
So could it be only affecting actinic shops?

                        Hi thatscrafty

I dont think that will make any difference.
As far as I'm aware the paypal standard integration in v7 and v9 is the same.

Evidence so far seems to point to it making all the difference? Something must be different on the version integrations from what i have read in this thread....

Call me a giraffe if you like, but surely V7 and beforers need to see what's different on the V8 and beyond integrations, evidence seems to point strongly to a difference.

V9 user needed to spanner the works though please.
