    Secure Trading & Actinic

    Hi,

    Is anyone running Actinic using Secure Trading for payments?

    What I'm looking for is information on the following:

    Do you receive Order Information on the "Credit Card Order" email that is automatically sent to you after a successful transaction?

    We receive all apropriate information, but without the items ordered.

    I've contacted Secure Trading regarding this receiving the following reply:

    "Looking at the HTTP POST being sent from Actinic, there is not orderinfo field being passed from Actinic, are you currently using this field on your account, as it is not being sent over when processing a transaction."

    Help!

    OR

    Does anyone know of a way in Actinic to be able to receive an email providing details of the items ordered when processed. At the moment we only receive an email stating:

    "A new catalog order has been received at your web site since you last downloaded."

    I look forward to some replies.

    Hi

    We get the email from Actinic as the customer passes through checkout, then the successful/decline email from ST. Neither have items ordered in them, but the ST email is the more helpful of the two as it has amount etc.

    I suspect there isn't a way of getting what you want, I think you can only access details of items ordered by logging into Actinic and downloading the orders.

      Does anyone know of a way in Actinic to be able to receive an email providing details of the items ordered when processed. At the moment we only receive an email stating:

      "A new catalog order has been received at your web site since you last downloaded."
      Just enter your email address into the field marked 'send copy of customer email to:'

        Good luck with that - I'm sure it does work but we've never got it to (didn't try too hard......)

          It does work but only if the customer returns to the receipt page.

          It is very important to get this working as this is what triggers the customer email and if the don't return there then they don't get to see the receipt / order confirmation or get any emails from you.

            We don't have a receipt page.......

            Thanks Mike, that's something I'll look into as it is clearly preferable, although I should say that to my knowledge we've never had a customer comment about not receiving an email or seeing a receipt.

              Order Information

              Hi Aled,

              This is down to Actinic as it isn't passing us the field orderinfo.

              You will be able to find out what they ordered by logging into your Actinic admin area and viewing your orders.

              We have emailed you regarding this on the 15/03/2010, but haven't receive a reply.

                Many thanks for your reply! - Sorry I just forund your email on my junk mail box for some reason!

                Anyway - As Actinic is run offline, I was just wondering if I could receive an email to let me know how things are going in the shop whilst I'm away. I can't log into actinic if I'm away.

                And as Actinic only sends me an email to say that there's an order to download - I thought it would be an idea to have the order details come through with the Secure Trading confirmation email.

                  I think Mike has tha answer in #3, as long as your customers are sent back from ST to your site's receipt page.

                  Also, lots of people here have mentioned that they use remote access software to log into their Actinic PC when they're away. We use TeamViewer and think it's great.
