As you probably know Sagepay will not be in a position to process payments on mobile devices for some time. That's what they have told me anyway; it's not high priority as only 1% of their customers use mobile devices?
Actually according to analytics, this is the same percentage of visitors to my site using mobile devices.
I would be interested to hear how any of you are handling your payments with mobile devices.
I had a customer call yesterday, who tried to process an order from his iPhone and failed. Luckily, 1. He called us and 2. The item was low cost and we could take the order over the phone.
We do not accept telephone payments for high cost items for obvious reasons.
I know 1% is low but that's still loss of potential orders.
