I also fell into this trap. I did wonder if if was the protx URLs, but as I got through September without a problem, I assumed they were all fixed.

I seem to be having a similar problem on v7 and v8, I'd also done all the changes in the instructions earlier, I've triple checked them and they look right.
However the checkout process works fine until the final page
https://live.sagepay.com/gateway/service/authorisation doesn't display with a 400 bad request error.

Have I missed something??

Okay the V7 seems to be working fine its just my V8 site that has this issue
