Actinic Downloading Failed Sage Pay Transactions

Hey Everybody

Has anyone worked out yet how to stop Actinic downloading failed Sage Pay Transactions? We are having a nightmare in the office because we are sending goods that haven't been paid for. Please if anyone has any advice let me know.

Where are you processing these orders from?

Orders with failed Sagepay transactions will only download into the PSP Pending tab and, while you should monitor these (and recover, if necessary) you shouldn't be processing them!

Are you saying that you receive orders with FAILED sagepay payments into your normal PENDING tab?

If so, this is NOT usual and certainly not something I've ever experienced. I'd have to say it was a problem with Sagepay, tbh, if that's the case.
Have you spoken to them about it?

Thank you for the reply. We use a 3rd party processing system as Actinic is unable to handle the number of orders we receive. Is there no way we can get around this?

What are you using?
I would say that, whatever system it is, you need to be making sure that it only imports orders that have full payment received.
If it's OSOP from Mole End, you can do this. If it's something else, then you will need to make sure your system is programmed this way.

I agree with Tracey, whatever system is importing the orders should be able to identify them as paid or not.

I agree with you. The software does have that capability, but we can't seem to find where that information is in the database for a start.

We are currently using VSP forms with Sage, would this make any difference to where the authorisation information is stored?

I'm away from my PC right now but if I remember correctly there is a payment status field that shows the status of the order payment. You shouldn't need to check the payment type (which is in another field somewhere if you want to import that as well).
