    Barclaycard ePDQ CPI intergration

I have lifted the following quote from this thread dated July 2009

"Actinic can't currently link to Barclays ePDQ."

Does anybody know if this is still true ?

    It is still true.

Why would you want to use ePDQ? There are alternatives that are cheaper, as reliable and more functional when used with Actinic.

      Thanks

I believe ePDQ had a special offer on, however we are going to give Sagepay a spin.

        Hi,

Picking up on an old thread here, but the point of using the new Barclaycard ePDQ system is that you don't require a gateway (thus eliminating the need for Actinic Payments), and they do a pay as you go package with no standing or minimum charges. The transaction charges are higher at around 3 point something percent, but until you turn over £1140.00 per month on web sales, it's still cheaper than a gateway and a merchant account.

I have submitted the Advanced Integration Guide from Barclaycard to Sellerdeck support to see if they will in fact write a plug-in, or make it an option on a later version of the desktop software, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it never makes it.

        Discuss.
