Hello,
We've just received the following email.
So I'm *guessing* that we may have to make some changes to some of the files Actinic uses to point to the new payment URL.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I have no idea how many files are affected.
Thanks in advance.
We've just received the following email.
Dear Customer,
We previously wrote to you to inform you of the changes we were making to the WorldPay systems to remove references to the Royal Bank of Scotland, following the sale of WorldPay on 30 November 2010.
We are updating our payment and administrative systems and the URLs (internet addresses) used to connect to these systems, to remove references to RBS.
We will shortly provide you with full details of our new URLs. Rest assured that the old URLs to our payment system will continue to work for 6 months.
WHEN WILL THESE CHANGES HAPPEN?
We will be switching our branding to WorldPay on our payment and administrative systems on the 3rd August 2011.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?
The actions described below can be made any time once your account has been switched over.
1) Connecting to our payment system
On the 3rd August the rebranded version will be activated for your account. When your customers purchase online they will be automatically redirected to the new WorldPay URL.
The old URLs will continue to work for 6 months. Therefore, within 6 months of the 3rd August you will need to update your shopping cart software, website and/or systems to communicate with the new URL of our payment page.
Full details of the new URLs will be made available on our support site on the 2nd August at the following link: WorldPay URL Changes
You do not need to make any changes before the 3rd August.
2) Accessing your account
When you are switched over on the 3rd August you and your customers will have access to our rebranded administrative systems. Please log in to your account by going to the following URL:
http://www.worldpay.com/admin
The WorldPay Admin page will provide further details of which link to use. Make sure you use the link titled 'New WorldPay login'.
3) Updating your website and payment pages
In addition to the above, if you have references to RBS or RBS WorldPay, and/or display the RBS WorldPay logo anywhere on your website, please remove these logos and update your text references and/or version to the new WorldPay logo. This should be done as soon as possible. This new logo is available at the logo download page.
If you are using the WorldPay-hosted payment pages and have customised the files for your installation, you may need to log in to your account and make sure that the correct WorldPay logo is displayed.
If you host your own payment page the above logo change should not affect you.
Thank you for your continued support.
