    Actinic and HSBC Secure ePayments

    Anyone else having problems with HSBC secure epayments today?

    Some customers are not able to pay as the website doesn't connect to HSBC server and it stops at

    https://secure.actinicsecure.com/cgi-bin/is_main.pl

    giving 'The connection to the shop can not be established!' error.

    The problem seems to be intermittent and I am able to connect sometimes and sometimes not.

    Anyone else affected?

    Hi

    Can you check again, unfortunately one of the servers in the Actinic HSBC system had a clock failure an the clock had drifted out by more than an hour. In the past this has caused HSBC to refuse the connection. We've resolved the clock issue and other customers have confirmed its working again fine.

      This is still happening for me. I think it was also happening yesterday evening.

      Anything we can do to fix it?

          Hello Steve,

          Now I am not able to connect to HSBC server at all. I called the support and was advised to delete cookies but no change

            Thanks for the updates, can you recheck now please. If you could confirm success or failure with your site URL I can then quickly check our logging to see what is going on

                    a few of my hsbc secure epayments are staying in psp pending even though payment has gone through ok. This has only just started happening.. (i've been using secure epayments and actinic for years without issue.) most are still going through without error.. but the callback is failing on a few... This is worrying because the orders are not being sent out despite being paid for!

                    What can be causing intermittant failure of the callback?
