    SagePay Saturday 5 May

    Anybody having a problem this morning with SagePay successful payments coming into Actinic as failed payments, ie not tagged? I thought orders were really quiet this morning until I found them in the pending tab. This has never happened to be before in many years of using. Not sure whether it is SagePay or Actinic/me, but I haven't changed anything. SagePay System Monitor says nothing. Unfortunately a customer thought her payments had failed, and placed and paid for 5 identical orders.

    We have had the same problem this morning.

    I spoke to Sagepay, they initially said it was a problem with the card issuing bank until i told them it was still happening.

    I did a test order and Sagepay messes up when it attempts the 3D Secure, and customers are left with a blank white screen.

    I have sent them screenshots to help and they are going to come back to me.

    If you ring them, speak to David, he is who I spoke to so will hopefully have a better idea what's going on!

      Not sure same problem

      Hi Rob! I am not sure your problem is the same as mine. My payments are going through SagePay and 3D Secure fine, customer gets confirmation from SagePay, we are receiving payments. It is just that the orders go in pending in Actinic, and the customers are not being sent auto emails saying we have the order. One person therefore placed the order/made the payment 4 times.

      I have rung SagePay and they say there is nothing wrong at their end, they are sending the data to us as payment successful. I have just tried re-entering the secret key to see if that makes a difference and will report back here.

        Hi Sarah!

        Sounds the same, perhaps your customers aren't having issues with 3D Secure but the end result is the same.

        Our site isn't getting the confirmation from Sagepay and therefore not sending the email confirmation and orders are sitting in PSP Pending tab. We are also getting the Sagepay email but nothing else!

        I thought it was a bit odd when Sagepay confirmations started coming in this morning but no copy orders!

        The two problems sound to similar to not be Sagepay!

        Anyone else got any ideas?

          Hopefully, all is working now, I have just done a couple of test transactions which went through fine.

            Hi

            We have had the same problem. It seems to be the page hangs or crashes post payment and the customer is not returned to our site to initiate the order confirmation. Have just pulled sagepay and will run with Actinic payments for the moment.

              I re-entered secret key

              Following some advice in somebody's posting a while ago, I re-typed my secret key, exactly as it was before, in the payment settings in Actinic, uploaded, and orders immediately started coming through correctly. It may have been a coincidence, that the problem happened to be corrected by SagePay at the same time, don't know.
