Actinic Payments / CreditCall eKashu changes

Don't think this affects AP users but if it does, perhaps Actinic could let us know:

    Dear Sir / Madam,

As part of the continuing development of our web products and their browser card scheme compliance we have decided to make a small change to the behaviour of the CreditCall hosted payment page (known as eKashu).

If you use our hosted payment page, are unsure, or think that you might, please pass this email on to your systems integrator for their review. Failure to comply with the change detailed in this email may result in your payments failing.

Starting from the 24th September 2012 the CreditCall eKashu live hosted payment page (https://live.ekashu.com) will no longer allow itself to be embedded inside a HTML frame or an iframe. Therefore, please ensure that by this date that your integrations with our hosted payment page are able to work with this change in place. If the payment page is embedded in a HTML frame or iframe after 24th September 2012 it will break out of the frame by using common frame-breaking methods.

The ability to break out of a HTML frame or iframe has already been implemented and deployed on the CreditCall eKashu test hosted payment page (https://test.ekashu.com). Please use the test system to ensure that your integration works without issue with the latest changes before they are deployed to the live environment on the 24th September 2012. We would recommend testing with the latest version of the test payment page even if you do not embed the page inside a HTML frame or an iframe.

The latest version of the eKashu Integration Guide can be downloaded from our website:

    http://www.creditcall.com/web_developers.html

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

    Kind Regards,
    eKashu Support.

I just got this too. I would doubt anyone with Actinic is running this in an iframe but if they are then now's the time to make a change.

Good afternoon folks, sorry this sort of slipped through and was sent direct from CreditCall to any of our AP customers who also had a registered test account.

We have been formulating our own notice tailored specifically for AP customers. Anyway, the crux of the message would be the same.

CreditCall are removing the ability to present the payment page within an iFrame on a web site, running in an iFrame has been allowed, though not encouraged, but it's possible that it may become something frowned upon.

This will have no impact on AP users as we are not aware of any customers who have custom built their payment pages to use AP within an iFrame.

If you do have any specific concerns please post here or contact our support team
