    Hi Guys

    Is the issue
    Crypt::SSLeay.

    or is the issue as actinic -> troubleshooting-> web site analysis reports

    Crypt::SSLEasy

    which says incidently as "not installed"

    My paypal worked until 6th august and now doesnt with the 500 internal area (www.worldofbears.com)

    my hosting provided states nothing has changed, no auto updates, but has offered to reload the perl for a small fee

    So at the moment i dont know if this will fix the issue

    Paul

    Yes I think so - although the symptoms are similar the cause is different.

    I had upgraded from V9 to V10 during this period and this made me think that maybe this was the issue.
    I purged and refreshed with V9 and it now works correctly so at least I am up and running.
    I couldn't open a snapshot made in V10 in V9 so it's a slightly older copy of the website with some new products missing but nothing to lose sleep over!

    Anyone else had an upgrade issue with V9 to V10 with regards to paypal intergration?

    I get no error message but an "image" of the outer shell of my page (top bar and side bar) appears further down the cart page.
    I have done the actinic.pm alteration and refreshed the website but the problem still occurs.

    According to website analysis my host is on SSleay 0.51 (if I'm looking at the right bit)

    Again the symptom seems to be that I am not being passed onto paypal.
    I get to the point of clicking confirm order - the button changes to saving order and then the extra page image appears - wierd!

    This won't be the same problem as you are using an older version of the perl module.

    I suggest you register a support issue with SellerDeck support.

    All problems cleared up for me now, without having made any .pm changes so it looks like the cpan change has worked?

    Anyway, thanks so much to everyone that tackled this so quickly to get it fixed!

    Your webhost has probably installed the latest version (0.64) of Crypt::SSLeay which fixes the problem.

    PayPal Working On Its Own

    Hi Everyone,

    Since yesterday afternoon the PayPal problem seems to have fixed itself without me having to do the fix.

    I have found it working correctly now on multiple sites.

    In that case I had best say thank you very much instead of just thanks

    Customers that have experienced this problem need to run Web Site Analysis from the 'Help | Troubleshooting' menu to check that the new version has been installed on their server and if so they should undo the customisation in Actinic.pm. If they have no other customisation of this file then they may simply copy it across to the site folder from the 'Original' folder.
    I can confirm that an unmodified version of Actinic.pm is working correctly with the new version 0.64 of Crypt::SSLeay

    Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

    [URL removed]

    If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

    Sorry Gordon, but I'm afraid I don't quite understand your reply. If websites utilising PayPoint (such as all four of my sites) are not affected by the problem discussed in this thread, how would it be that the mod you provided fixed my problem last week? (I confirmed this earlier in the thread on 01/08/12). I have a feeling I may have completely misunderstood what you mean and so, if I have, please accept my apologies in advance. Thanks.
