    HSBC Secure Epayments to Global Iris (Realex)

    Hi,

    As we knbow Secure Epayments from HSBC is coming to and end and changing to Global Iris (Realex) The changeover seems fairly straightforward... fingers crossed.

    I have received this email regarding the changeover;
    Further our communication earlier, in order to change the payment processor with your actinic account you will need to do the following:

    Choose 'Business Settings' then 'Payments and Security', under the payment method grid in top left there is a small plus, here you will be given a list of all the payment providers, chosse 'Realex'. It will then bring config settings. Here you will be asked for your account details which must have been given over the phone to you.

    In order to set your account live we require the following.
    • The referring URL.
    • The response URL.
    • A redirect template
    In order to add the template it needs to follow the guidelines below:

    * Template pages must contain the payment form tag: <!--E-PAGE TABLE HERE-->

    * All images/CSS used in the template must be referred locally on our server. There should be no absolute URLs to external images/CSS. This means that you will need to send the image files to us along with the template page.

    * There can be no scripting of any kind in the template for security reasons. It should contain only basic HTML.

    * The name of the file must be: template.htm

    * All necessary files should be placed in a folder with the same name as the sub-account for which the template is intended (the default sub-account is always 'internet').

    * This folder should then be placed in a zip file of the same name.

    If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind Regards,
    Emma
    A template with hosted images is a nice touch that was lacking from Secure Epayments.

    How do I find the exact referring and response URLS that my site uses?

    We haven't had that email yet. It is worrying. We should not have to supply this information. Actinic should.

      Hi Guccij,
      I think I only got the email because last wek I phoned and hassle HSBC merchant services after reading your previous post on the subject.

      I would be nice if Actinic/Sellerdeck gave us the heads up on this change, as the built-in secure Epayments integration will cease to work shortly.

        I emailed the Emma woman yesterday regarding this. She said she would "talk me through" what's required and explain where to find the urls "when the integration happens." No timescale supplied. Personally I can't be bothered and will just pull the plug unless I hear something sensible from HSBC and Sellerdeck soon.

              Not if your script ID is anything other than 1, it isn't.

                So we look in Network Settings : CGI script ID number to find out?

                Is the referring URL and the response URL the same?

                  Firstly I'd like to make it clear that this change from HSBC to RealEx has nothing to do with SellerDeck. It is HSBC that are terminating their service and offering their customers Realex accounts instead and applies to all HSBC customers not just those using SellerDeck. There is nothing binding and HSBC customers are free to choose any other PSP to replace HSBC.

                  Regarding the requirements for realEx.
                  RealEx integration document at https://resourcecentre.realexpayment..._id=141&id=156 refers to the Referring and response URLs and explains that these are the URLs from which redirects will occur and the the URL to which the Authorisation will be sent. These are not full script URLs, just the domain is needed such as http://www.sellerdeck.co.uk/. RealEX will record the domains in White Lists and only accept requests from the referring URL and only send authorisations to the response URL.

                  The redirect template is like an outer layout and is hosted by RealEX and (I believe) may be customised by the merchant. The Authorisation response from the merchants server will contain the equivalent of an inner layout which is dropped into the hosted template and presented to the buyer. See the {sitename}\CommonOCC\PostRealex.fil file for the default success and failure HTML which can be customised however backups need to be kept as the script will get replaced by SellerDeck upgrades.

                  For more information about customising the hosted response template contact RealEx support.

                    Hi Gordon,

                    Thanks for your attention regarding this, however you have given different information that the info I received from SellerDeck support via email (from Vinu Anil)

                    he said
                    but you seem to be saying its just;

                      The URL is not used to access the site only to identify the server which is allowed to send requests and receive the authorisation.

                      What Vinu has said will be okay but the cgi-bin/os000001.pl part will probably be discarded by RealEx. If they use the URL with the script name then you will find that if you switch SellerDeck to Test Mode (the site not just the PSP) it won't work as the script ID will be different and so the URL will be rejected.

                          Delayed Payments

                          Quite impressed with the migration and the Realex customer support.

                          However....

                          It doesn't matter which radio button I select in the Realex payment configuration box it always shows at their end as delayed.

                          I've even refreshed the website from scratch

                            That is a known bug with the Realex integration which can be fixed as follows:-

                            Locate the file PostRealex.fil in the CommonOCC folder beneath the site folder
                            Edit the file with a text editor such as Notepad
                            Search for the text '$ActinicSignature = "000";'
                            Immediately after the line insert
                            Code:
                            my $batchid = $::g_InputHash{BATCHID};
                            my $sPA = 0;
                            if ('-1' eq $batchid)
                            {
                            $sPA = 1;
                            }
                            Save the file and exit

                            Locate the file OCCRealexScriptTemplate.pl in the CommonOCC folder beneath the site folder
                            Edit the file with a text editor such as Notepad
                            Search for the text 'if ($bAuthorize)'
                            Replace the block of code
                            Code:
                            if ($bAuthorize)
                            {
                            AddPostValues ('&', 'PREAUTH', '0', $ALWAYS, $NOENCODE);
                            }
                            with
                            Code:
                            if ($bAuthorize)
                            {
                            AddPostValues ('&', 'AUTO_SETTLE_FLAG', '1', $ALWAYS, $NOENCODE);
                            }
                            else
                            {
                            AddPostValues ('&', 'AUTO_SETTLE_FLAG', '0', $ALWAYS, $NOENCODE);
                            }
                            Save the file and exit
                            Update the web site
