We have used Actinic Payments for four years and as with all PSP's we get some drop outs at the payment page. We usually follow up these drop outs with an quick email and usually recover over 80% of the dropouts. Usually the reason for the dropout is some technical problem or card rejection, etc and sometimes due to the presence of 3D secure, but have only ever had one or two customers state they had any concerns over the Actinic Payment page or it's security and the reason given in that case was that they were taken away to another page and were concerned that they were being scammed, but I guess the same would be true of SagePay, etc.
I initially had concerns that the name and appearance of the Actinic Payments page would lose a lot of customers but can honestly say I have seen very little evidence that it is a problem to more than a negligible percentage of orders and would happily recommend AP for it's integration which is particularly useful if you get a phone call from a customer asking to tag an extra item on their order which can be charged for with a single button click in the Actinic backend.
