    "The merchant is not set up to accept a payment this high"?

    I've just tried to process an order via Actinic Payments MOTO which is a bit higher than normal (but not by much) & have received the following when trying to complete;

    The merchant is not set up to accept a payment this high

    Please try again

    The only thing that crossed my mind was the maximum order value set up in Settings/Business Settings/Ordering might be to low, so I checked this, increased it in excess of the order value & published the site, but I'm still getting the same error when I try to complete payment on the MOTO screen.

    I'm using;
    Actinic 10.0.4,
    Actinic Payments,
    Cardsave.

    Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    a search suggests it's because it's in test mode. Sound feasible? might be worth checking.

      You have to ask AP to up the limit.

      Maybe.

        That’s the only reference I could find with search on this one - I don't use test mode that often & I haven’t been in it for a while - thanks.

        Maybe.
        I wasn't really certain where the limits were controlled (Actinic, Cardsave, Streamline....), so I'll give them a call on Monday morning (You would think that cover customers might have AM Saturday support….) - thanks.

        This particular order is due to leave on Monday morning - If I cant get this resolved by then, is it possible to charge two smaller amounts to the customers credit card, or would that possibly be flagged & the second payment refused?

          I would have thought two different amounts adding up to the original total with two separate order numbers would do the trick.
