PayPal commerce setup successfully?

I need to take the plunge but instead of asking if problems occurred I'd like to know if anyone has successfully implemented it without issues?

I've got it working on my sites..... except when ever I download an order paid for by PayPal it says that it is downloading 2 payment authorisations - fortunately, only one of them shows on the order itself.

We have been using it for 4 months now, initially I had a problem with "PayPal Cards" - the fields were there in checkout, but you couldn't enter card number etc - Sellerdeck support fixed this remotely, said something about a duplicated layouts blocking it,

We have found around a 50 / 50 split between customers checking out with PayPal and PayPal cards, the only thing I don't like is when somebody uses the cards option, is there is no seller protection from PayPal.

We get the duplicated payment authorisations also.

All that said, commission of 1.3 % on sales over a month opposed to 3.2 % adds up to a big saving, and what's not to like about that.

Thank you after my current email issues are resolved its next on the list, considering ending sellerdeck payments if the card side works well.

One bit of the process puzzles me, the onboarding requiring the login to PayPal to validate....how can this happen before the website is uploaded

All seems to be working now, one small error I have reported to support where in the cart the or between payment methods is placed above not in-between

Actually another error this time very annoying..no phone number included on the order which as we know is essential for courier shipping

Both problems fixed in great time by support

Unless it's changed now, you have to inform PayPal that you are using this, I had to sign an electronic agreement, and then they applied the lower fees.
