    Clearaccept question

Well from the next release late this year only clearaccept will be supported for card payments by sellerdeck.
For those already using it, has it now proved reliable and viable?
Another question regarding costs, is it a simple percentage per transaction or are there any other fees?
Thanks, looks like we all need to go with it and soon.

    Thanks Ed

    Ed,

If you can get Clear accept to set it up ok then it works fairly well. I am overlly pleased with the setup and looking forward to Apple Pay.

Not too sure on costings as my wife runs that side of things. She only ever moans about Paypal fees, not Clear Accept.

The communication between Sellerdeck and Clear Accept is poor. So in my opinion if you have an issue you may have problems. They tend to just go quiet and when you chase, they treat it as a new enquiry each time with no knowledge. this is my experience anyway.

As I say, works fairly well once setup. 1 of my sites still does not have an account from an application in April, and no one knows why. They chase it, and then it goes dead again. I have given up now.

My advice is to set the account up in good time.
    Regards

Reassuring and worrying thanks Jason, I really like paypal and am disappointed that they are removing the paypal cards part of the platform.
Hopefully it will go well, I am tempted to do a complete fresh installation and import only products and images to give it the best chance rather than upgrading.
