Google Analytics Data

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to use the data that Google Analytics provides me to increase the traffic to my site and ultimately, increase the sales? I'm a sole trader and internet marketing isn't my forte! I also do not have the spare cash to pay a third party to do it at the moment.

I've seen that Google have a Website Optimizer Tool. Has anybody used it and implemented it into an Actinic based site. Is it difficult to use? Is it worth while?

Are there any good websites that can be recommended for improving my understanding and implementation of SEO (obviously with Actinic based site in mind)

there is a free seo book download on my website and acting also have an seo book to download as well. Both make a good starting point. Also there is loads of stuff on the forum if you spend a few days searching.
